In 2022, Egypt as well as the whole ward are started recovering from the consequence of covid pandemic. Assiut university has huge infrastructure that include many units’ labs as well as agricultural farms.  It has also a huge medical complex that produce huge income to the university. In 2022 the university had increased in different sections. New emerging companines had been born from Assiut University through propagating of the activities of  AU  unit for developing small projects ( Hema) had partially funded and gave training  support for 36 new industrial small projects in Assiut Governorate and surrounding districts in 2022.
