Assiut University Medical Conference Honors the Governor of Cairo, Aswan University President, Former Minister of health, and Former Governor of Assiut

The Seventh International Conference entitled "Chest Diseases and their Relationship with Diabetes in Infants and Adults" started in Cairo. The conference marked dense and wide attendance representing various Egyptian and Sudanese medical institutions. The opening session included honoring the guests who recently joined the activities of the Society as well those who supported and contributed to the Society during the past years. Dr. Suzan Salama, Assiut University Professor of Chest Diseases, and Conference Chairperson stated that honored guests who were granted the Society's Coat of Arms included Major General Khaled Abdel-Aal, Governor of Cairo, and Prof. Ahmed Ghallab, Aswan University President. In addition, Dr. Salama added that the Society also granted its coat of arms in honor of Assiut University and it was handed to Prof. Ahmed Al-Menshawy, Dean of Assiut University Faculty of Medicine on behalf of Prof. Tarek El-Gammal, Assiut University President. Another coat of Arms granted to the Sudanese Neelain University and it was handed to Dr. Sanaa Al-Taher, Professor of Gastrointestinal System and representative of the Sudanese University.
