The British Times Rankings lists Assiut University among the best Golden Age universities in the world for the third year respectively

Prof. Tarek El-Gammal, Assiut University President, announced the inclusion of the British Times website of Assiut University in the 201 - to 250th position among the best golden age universities in the world for the year 2020 for the third year in a row, which is the classification concerned with evaluating ancient universities established more than 50 years ago at the level of the world. Prof. Maha Kamel Ghanem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, revealed that the classification of “Golden Age Universities” is one of the times classifications concerned with evaluating universities that have been established more than 50 years and less than 75 years old, according to some criteria related to the educational environment, scientific and research standing, research citation, and the international overview of the university for faculty, students and the research movement.
