Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University; On Wednesday, October 18, the university witnessed a major educational symposium, entitled: “Fifty Years Since
At the conclusion of the educational symposium, Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy dedicated; The university shield was awarded to Major General Samir Faraj and Major General Issam Saad, and a number of commanders, officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers of the Southern Military Region, and the families of the martyrs were honored.
On the sidelines of the symposium, the October Victories Exhibition was opened, organized by the Central Youth Welfare Department, in cooperation with my college. Fine arts and specific education, including a number of artistic paintings.
The symposium also witnessed: A documentary film was shown about the victories of the October War, prepared by the Department of Morale Affairs at the Ministry of Defense, entitled: “The Eternal October War 1973,” and a documentary film prepared by Assiut University was shown, dealing with the nation’s martyrs, led by the leaders of the October War, and the heroes and martyrs of the October War from Assiut Governorate.
