  strategy to support the integrated health and medical care system The Faculty of Nursing, Assiut University, under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, and under the supervision of Dr. Samah Mohamed Abdullah, Dean of the College and President of the Conference, organized the activities of its sixth international conference, under the title: “The Future of Nursing: Health Problems, Challenges, and Solutions” today, Sunday, February 18, and its extended duration. During the period from February 18 to 19, in the eighth hall of the administrative building, in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aleem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Gamal Badr, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies And research, Dr. Nidal Farid Aisha, Professor of Nursing and Vice President of Zarqa University in Jordan, Dr. Mahmoud Shiha, Vice President of Sphinx University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Ikram Ibrahim, Vice President of the College for Graduate Studies.
   Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, explained: The conference comes within the framework of the university's strategy that aims to enhance the benefit of researchers and specialists in all different sectors. To improve the quality and performance of nursing; In an effort to achieve the goals of sustainable development and Egypt’s Vision 2030, indicating the university administration’s keenness to support nursing, which is a major part of the integrated health and medical care system. Dr. Al-Minshawy stressed that the conference represents a pioneering multidisciplinary platform. For practitioners and faculty;
To discuss health problems, contemporary challenges, and the best solutions, appreciating the efforts of the College of Nursing. In raising the efficiency of its human cadres.
  Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aleem praised; Through the conference, and through the efforts of the College of Nursing in the medical and health sectors, and the graduation of human cadres capable of facing challenges; To serve society and our beloved country; In addition to the participation of various universities from inside and outside Egypt, indicating the university’s keenness on openness, international and global cooperation, transfer of expertise, and continued development.
For his part, Dr. Jamal Badr appreciated the efforts of the College of Nursing in holding this scientific conference and raising the efficiency of the nursing staff among the different universities. In order to exchange experiences as one of the basic pillars of health care, especially in light of the challenges witnessed by the health sector, which require the necessity of keeping up with everything new in the medical field through continuous cooperation between the authorities concerned with health; To reach positive and sound solutions; To overcome the obstacles and challenges facing the health sector, to achieve the national strategy for progress.
Dr. Samah Abdullah indicated that the college was keen to organize the sixth international conference entitled: “The Future of Nursing: Health Problems, Challenges, and Solutions” during that time, which witnessed an increasing use of modern technologies. To overcome the challenges and find solutions facing nursing, pointing to the necessity of harnessing advanced technology in the health sector, which is primarily in the patient’s , thanking all attendees from inside and outside Egypt; To transfer and exchange experiences.
For her part, Dr. Ikram Ibrahim stated that the conference will be discussed through four scientific sessions extended over two days; A number of important topics, which address: the most prominent trends and contemporary innovations in the field of nursing, and cooperation between professionals, in addition to advanced nursing practices, virtual and augmented reality in education, nursing practice, and scientific research, adding that workshops are scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the conference. around; Diabetes II, climate change, systematic review, and meta-analysis.
It is worth noting that nursing professors from Ain Shams University, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and America lectured online, and Dr. Nidal Farid Aisha lectured; A lecture entitled: “Virtual and Augmented Reality in Nursing Education, Practice, and Scientific Research,” which discussed the uses of virtual reality, or augmented reality, in nursing education and clinical applications for students.
On the sidelines of the conference; Shields were presented to: Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Aleem, Dr. Gamal Badr, Dr. Mahmoud Shiha, Dr. Samah Abdullah, and Dr. Nidal Farid Aisha, honoring the deans of the Faculty of Nursing, and honoring a group of faculty members. In the college, the college secretary and the former secretary, a number of college administrators, graduates of the first batch of the college of nursing since its inception, some from the Directorate of Health Affairs, and the Police Hospital in Assiut, and honoring the sub-head of the nursing union in the Assiut Nursing Syndicate.
