Prof. Ayman K.M. Hassan has completed his interventional cardiology Ph.D. at the age of 33 years from Leiden University Medical Center, The Netherlands after finishing this Master studies from Assiut University School of Medicine. He was nominated as the vice director of Assiut University Hospitals and the head of a new health care quality unite for 10 years until now. He has published more than 40 papers in reputed journals, different book chapters and has been serving as an editorial board member of repute. Also he was the Principal investigator of different projects funded by the Science, Technology & Innovation Funding Authority (STDF) or ministry of higher education (MOHE). He is the founder and director of E-learning courses for under-and post-graduate students for 12 years till now. He is an official instructor and a management committee member at the European, Egyptian & Assiut Univ. Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation council, gave hundreds of lectures and training CPR courses all over Egypt to students, nurses and lay personnel.  Dr. Ayman is interested in internationalization and globalization steps being a UNILEAD coarse holder from the German Academic Exchange Service - DAAD. He is an active member of different professional organizations including the Egyptian and European society of cardiology and a Fellow of European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular interventions (EAPCI). He had been granted several awards for best Scientific research at Egyptian society of cardiology congress and from Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), the Netherlands. Dr.Ayman as an experienced interventional cardiologist he pushed the field forward by practicing difficult cases and implementing primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) project at Assiut governorate, with training courses and communication networking with peripheral hospitals and ambulance personnel resulting in great success and maintenance of the project saving lives of thousands of patients every year since 2015 till now.
