Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, Acting President of Assiut University, announced today the approval of disbursing an amount of 1000 pounds to all university employees and exempting them from any financial deductions or fees.
The president of the university stated that the amount to be disbursed comes in implementation of the decision of the Board of Directors of the Fund for Improving the Conditions of Employees in Egyptian Universities at its last meeting on October 17, 2022, and it is the fund that aims at improving the conditions of the employees in Egyptian universities.
The President of the University stated that this decision includes all university employees, whether confirmed, temporary or contracted, in the education sectors and university hospitals, who are affiliated with the general staff (balance or funds), as well as medical professionals. As soon as the payment order for those amounts was received.
Mr. Shawkat Saber, Secretary General of the University, revealed that the scheduled amount will be disbursed to all those at work during the period from March 24, 2022 to October 17, 2022, and to those on leave for some time, according to the percentage of actual working days. It will also be paid to contractual or temporary workers.
