As part of its continued commitment to supporting Entrepreneurship, Assiut University launched the AU-Startup Spark 2023 camp on Sunday, July 9, 2023.

          Assiut University's Entrepreneurship Club organized the AU-Startup Spark 2023 camp in partnership with the Education and Student Sector, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology. The camp focuses on entrepreneurship, employment, and student startups.

         In his speech at the launch event, Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawi, President of Assiut University, expressed his delight at being a part of the launch of the "Startup Spark Camp 2023," the largest forum for entrepreneurs in Upper Egypt at Assiut University, noting that this event comes out of the university's keenness to implement the national strategy for higher education in 2030, which prioritizes entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology localization.

         It is worth noting that the camp's events will run from July 9 to August 10, 2023. They will include a project creation workshop, an entrepreneurship training course, a personal skills development seminar, two exhibitions for Students' projects, a recruitment forum, competitions, and startup incubation. The camp focuses on employment, innovation, entrepreneurship, marketing, and digital transformation, offering tracks in various fields such as Engineering, Technology, Applied Environmental Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, Education, Humanities, Literature, Arts, Business, and Economics. The camp organizes competitions for the best student team, the most promising startup, and the most exceptional student project. It also offers weekly awards for outstanding CVs, interviews, digital marketing plans, business plans, and community initiative projects.
