Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, Acting President of Assiut University, Dr. Maha Kamel Ghanem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, witnessed the launch of the events of the Environmental Day of the Faculty of Education, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Gaber Qassem, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Mohamed Mostafa Hamad, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education for Community Service Affairs and Environment Development, with the participation of the faculty’s students.
Dr. Maha Ghanem emphasized the keenness of the university administration to achieve the university’s mission seeking to direct its educational and community services in favor of serving the community and the environment, praising the efforts made by faculty members and students to raise environmental awareness within the faculty and deepen students’ belonging to the university community and the country, and she also urged students to participate in various environmental activities.
Dr. Mohamed Gaber explained the keenness of the faculty of Education to strengthen the bonds of cooperation and joint work between faculty members and students through the practice of various student activities, the foremost of which is preserving the environment.
Dr. Mohamed Mostafa Hamad also praised the participation of students from all grades in the various departments of the faculty to make a distinguished environmental day within the faculty through various awareness posters that would raise the level of awareness within the environment.
