Assiut University President Congratulates a Student at the Faculty of Social Work for Winning the Best Player Award, Receiving the Youth Centers League Shield, and A Trip to the French Club Marseille

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawi, Acting President of Assiut University, congratulated the student Mohamed Atef, enrolled at the Faculty of Social Work, on winning the award for the best player in the Youth Centers League. The student played for Kharga Youth Center, which won the championship shield last season. The award included winning a cohabitation period with the French club Marseille presented by the sponsoring company. The president announced the belief of the university that the educational process does not stop at the lecture hall, but rather extends to include student activities, which complete the study and create opportunities for friendships, growth and self-discovery. 

In this context, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Acting Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, declared that the university is exerting a great effort to develop talents of its students, care for gifted students, and remove obstacles that may prevent them from practicing activities during their studies. 

Dr. Saudi Mohamed Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Social Work, indicated that the student plays for the Assiut Petroleum Club and was promoted last January to the first team. Officials of the Kharga Youth Center demanded his participation with them in the Youth Centers League and his club agreed and the student excelled and won the title.
