Assiut University Organizes a Training Program for Employees in Various Departments and Sectors of the University in the Field of Preparing Leaders

Assiut University today opened a training program in the field of preparing leaders for employees in various departments of Assiut University. The program is directed to department managers in all sectors at the university and organized by the Central Administration for Human Resources, the General Administration for Talent Management and Development. The program extends from the 2nd to the 5th of this October, under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, Acting President of the University, and in the presence of Mr. Shawkat Saber Thabet, Secretary General of the University; Mr. Mustafa Hassan, the Assistant Secretary of the University; Mr. Mahmoud Younes Ahmed, Head of the Central Administration for Human Resources; and Mr. Khaled Omran, General Manager of the Administration and talents development and a group of working leaders from various sectors of the university.
During the opening, Mr. Shawkat Saber indicated that the training program comes within the framework of the university’s plan to develop leadership and supervisory skills in the various departments of the university and to stand up to the latest developments and effective methods of crisis management and overcoming the most difficult problems. 
For his part, Mr. Mustafa Hassan stated that the program aims to provide the participating managers with the arts of managing administration, dealing with others, influencing others, identifying patterns and behaviors of administrative leadership, and developing their skills and enhance their leadership potential.
Mr. Mahmoud Younis added that the training program comes with the participation of 70 trainees from various departments at the university, and it continues over 4 days with many important lectures. It includes entrances to organizational change and development, transformational leadership as an introduction to leading change, modern patterns of administrative leadership, discussions in the civil service law, and the nature of human behavior and crisis management. 
Mr. Khaled Omran also stated that the lectures are delivered by a group of faculty members, namely Dr. Al-Moataz Billah Al-Prince, Faculty of Commerce, Dr. Mohamed Mostafa Hamad, Faculty of Education, Dr. Ahmed Sayed Sebaei, Faculty of Commerce, and Mr. Ashraf Sayed Mahmoud, Director General of Institutional Development.
