Assiut University announces the Start of Receiving Research Proposals in the Field of Sustainable Development

Prof. Ahmed Al-Menshawy, Acting President of Assiut University, stressed the keenness of the university administration to open new fields of studies and research through cooperation with various universities, local and international institutions, revealing in this context the announcement of the Office of International Relations at the University in cooperation with Misr El Kheir Foundation to start receiving research proposals in the field of sustainable development, with the aim of actively participating in finding solutions to lay the foundations of sustainable development with a focus on the goal concerning climate change for the purpose of Agricultural investment, conservation of natural resources and recycling of waste. 
Prof. Jamal Badr, coordinator of the Office of International Relations at the University, explained that the proposed research areas include recycling all types of waste, reducing the use of new raw materials, reducing pollution, protecting the environment, conserving natural resources, reducing costs, as well as applying inexpensive new ideas for water purification and recycling and desalination and rationalization of irrigation water.

He pointed out that the deadline for receiving proposals is 30/9/2022.
