Al-Manshawy Accompanies the Current and Former University Leaders on an Inspection Visit to the Headquarters of Assiut National University in Preparation for the Start of Study there

Prof. Ahmed Al-Manshawy, Acting President of Assiut University, paid a visit to the headquarters of Assiut National University in the new city of Assiut, in which he was accompanied by Prof. Tarek Al-Jamal, former President of Assiut University, Prof. Maha Ghanem, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Affairs and her former counterpart Prof. Mohamed Abdel Latif, along with a delegation of deans of the faculties of the university that includes Prof. Abdul Hamid Abu Sahli, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Prof. Alaa Abdel Hafiz Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Prof. Khaled Fathy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, Prof. Mohamed Helmy Al-Hafnawy, Engineering Advisor to the President of the University and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Shereen Abdel Ghaffar, Supervisor of the English Translation Program at the Faculty of Arts, Mr. Shawkat Saber, General Secretary of the University, Mr. Mustafa Hassan and Mr. Wael Mohammed, Assistant Secretaries, Captain Alaa Hassan Siam from the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, and Engineer Mohamed Thabet, General Director of Engineering Affairs at the University.
Prof. Ahmed Al-Manshawy stated that the visit aims to identify the actual achievement on the ground and determine the size of the constructions in preparation for the announcement of the programs that are scheduled for studying in the first of next October, praising the support and sponsorship given by the Ministry of Higher Education and the political leadership to the project of establishing the National University and providing all the necessary capabilities to equip private universities according to the latest smart universities, which will be an important addition to the educational services provided in the universities of Upper Egypt.
Dr. Tariq Al-Jamal also explained that the completed construction works in the university in general is 76%, where the administrative building and classrooms have been completed and the completion rate in some buildings has reached more than 86%. The surrounding university campus has been equipped in accordance with the campus of Assiut University and according to the design of private universities, which includes multi-use study buildings, which is the work that is carried out under the supervision of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces.
