Assiut University announces the success of a medical team in removing a malignant tumor weighing 20 kg from the right kidney of a patient at the South Egypt Cancer Institute

Dr. Maha Ghanem, the acting President of Assiut University, received a report from Dr. Eman Masaad, the Dean of the South Egypt Cancer Institute, about the success of a medical team in removing a malignant tumor weighing 20 kg from the right kidney of a patient at the institute.
Dr. Eman Mas'ad pointed out that the success in performing these major operations at the institute comes within the framework of the huge healthcare services provided within the institute to more than 60,000 patients annually of all ages and from all governorates of Upper Egypt, with continuous support and sponsorship from Assiut University administration.
Dr. Khaled Faris, the Executive Director of the Cancer Hospital, praised the distinguished medical team that performed the precise surgery, which included Dr. Duaa Wadi, a professor of oncological surgery at the institute, Dr. Mustafa Jamal, and Dr. Abdelrahman Kamil, as well as the anesthesia team, which included Dr. Mohand Jamal, Dr. Mohamed Hussein, and Dr. Saif Mohamed. He confirmed that the patient is in good health and is receiving the necessary healthcare following the surgery at the institute.
