Assiut University holds a press conference to review the achievements of the past year.
The President of Assiut University, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, reviewed the achievements and gains of Assiut University during the past year in an extensive press conference, in the presence of Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Dowaib Hussein Saber, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Legal Advisor to the University President, and Professor Shawkat Saber, Secretary-General of the University. .
The conference discussed the university’s most prominent achievements, and Dr. Al-Minshawi stressed to the journalists the role of journalism and media in supporting the university’s activities and enhancing media coverage.
The conference reviewed what happened at the university during the past year. Among the achievements at the level of all sectors, in light of the university’s plan, and discussing mechanisms for strengthening and maximizing the volume of cooperation and coordination between the university, the press and the media, in the presence of representatives of major newspapers and media websites in Assiut Governorate.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy revealed: About the strategic vision that the university is adopting during the current stage, which emerges from the national strategy for higher education and scientific research, and aims for Assiut University to have an open, interconnected, and distinguished digital knowledge and research structure, pointing to the seven principles of sustainable development that Assiut University adopts; To implement its educational, research, and service activities, which are: integration, interdisciplinarity, direct communication, effective participation, sustainability, international reference, entrepreneurship, and creativity.
The President of Assiut University added that Assiut University witnessed the implementation of various activities and events. In each of these axes; The branch of the Science, Technology and Innovation Financing Authority was opened, and cooperation protocols were signed within the framework of the Upper Egypt Universities Alliance. This is to implement the national strategy for higher education and scientific research, and implement a number of projects, including: the Korean project for the College of Engineering; Funded by the Government of the Republic of South Korea.

To accelerate the comprehensive development plan for the regions of Upper Egypt, and to open the automated parlor at the animal production farm in the College of Agriculture, in addition to the university’s participation in many major initiatives; For early detection and treatment of cancerous tumors, and implementing the largest development process for the university cities sector since its establishment, in addition to the progress achieved by Assiut University in international classifications, achievements in the international reference track, and the Faculty of Nursing program obtaining international academic accreditation.
