The President of Assiut University honors the technology services units in the faculties for their efforts in achieving the university's strategy for digital transformation

Assiut University, headed by Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, honored the technology services units of the winning faculties in the periodic evaluation in the field of achieving the university’s strategy in digital transformation, in the presence of Dr. Moamen Taha El-Meligy, Executive Director of Information, Dr. Wajdi Refaat Nakhla, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and officials working in the winning units.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawi, President of Assiut University, congratulated the officials of the winning units. In honor of their outstanding efforts within their faculties, stressing the interest of the university administration in accelerating the pace in order to achieve digital transformation, and the development of electronic services provided at all academic and administrative levels, praising the sincere effort and tireless work of specialists in the fields of information systems and technological services, which contributed to the success of the university's endeavors; To achieve a great achievement in the process of digitizing the university.

For his part, Dr. Moamen Taha Al-Meligy said: The evaluation is carried out periodically on a semi-annual basis, and includes all scientific and theoretical faculties of the university, explaining that the evaluation resulted in the College of Specific Education winning the first place, and the College of Pharmacy came in the first place bis, and the center was withheld. The second, and the College of Education came in third place, followed by the College of Nursing, then the College of Fine Arts, and in the sixth place the College of Physical Education.

Dr. Al-Meligy indicated that these units are based on achieving the university's work strategies, in accordance with the tasks set by the Higher Committee for Digital Transformation, and each unit prepares reports related to electronic activities in their colleges, and provides the necessary electronic services to faculty members and students, while providing them with the necessary support, and following up the activity Electronic correspondence traffic on academic mail, which is evaluated according to specific criteria that include; The number of internet points in the college, the rate of news publishing, exam schedules on the college page, updating faculty pages, workshops, e-courses, the role of the unit in providing support, solving problems, and external communication, as well as the link to the YouTube channel of the college, and the number of videos published, and average views.
