Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy received the President of Assiut University; A Swiss delegation from the University of Applied Sciences, within the framework of the concluded PEER-Net project; To exchange students between Swiss universities and Assiut University, in cooperation with the University of Zurich, in the presence of Dr. Hassan Haweel, Dean of the College of Education, and Dr. Zakaria Jaber Hinnawi, Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching Methods at the College, and coordinator of the visit; With the aim of exchanging experiences in the field of teaching mathematics.

Dr. Hassan Haweel stated: The delegation included Dr. Selina Binger, Professor of Mathematics at the University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland, Gabrielle Renner, and Seraphine Parzival, and its visit continues. For 3 days from the 14th to the 16th of this February, the activities of the visit include: a lecture by Professor Selina at the College of Education on methods of teaching mathematics, and a discussion with students; To exchange experiences in this field, the visit activities also include: A discussion workshop with college students on: “Teaching mathematics and using environmental materials.”
Dr. Zakaria Jaber added: The delegation’s visit program includes multiple activities, including: a tour of the College of Education, a visit to the Founa Museum in the College of Science, the Museum of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Olympic Village at the university, and a visit to the Monastery of the Virgin Mary in Assiut.
